Giving Thanks to HaShem
Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will enter into them, I will give thanks unto HaShem.
This is the gate of HaShem; the righteous shall enter into it.
I will give thanks unto Thee, for Thou hast answered me, and art become my salvation.
The stone which the builders rejected is become the chief corner-stone.
This is HaShem'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
This is the day which HaShem hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
We beseech Thee, O HaShem, save now! We beseech Thee, O HaShem, make us now to prosper!
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of HaShem; we bless you out of the house of HaShem.
HaShem is God, and hath given us light; order the festival procession with boughs, even unto the horns of the altar.
Thou art my God, and I will give thanks unto Thee; Thou art my God, I will exalt Thee.

Hannah also prayed and said, "My heart exults in the LORD; my strength is exalted in the LORD. My mouth derides my enemies, because I rejoice in thy salvation. "There is none holy like the LORD, there is none besides thee; there is no rock like our God. Talk no more so very proudly, let not arrogance come from your mouth; for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. The bows of the mighty are broken, but the feeble gird on strength. Those who were full have hired themselves out for bread, but those who were hungry have ceased to hunger. The barren has borne seven, but she who has many children is forlorn. The LORD kills and brings to life; he brings down to Sheol and raises up. The LORD makes poor and makes rich; he brings low, he also exalts. He raises up the poor from the dust; he lifts the needy from the ash heap, to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honor. For the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and on them he has set the world. "He will guard the feet of his faithful ones; but the wicked shall be cut off in darkness; for not by might shall a man prevail. The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; against them he will thunder in heaven. Graduation PrayerFather,
I have knowledge, so will You show me now,
How to use it wisely and find a way somehow
To make the world I live in a little better place,
And make life with its problems a little bit easier to face.
Grant me faith and courage and put purpose in my days,
And show me how to serve Thee in effective ways.
So my education, my knowledge and my skill
May find their true fulfillment as I learn to do Thy will.
And may I ever be aware in everything I do,
That knowledge comes from learning, and wisdom comes from You.

Hallelujah. Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in the firmament of His power.
Praise Him for His mighty acts; praise Him according to His abundant greatness.
Praise Him with the blast of the horn; praise Him with the psaltery and harp.
Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; praise Him with stringed instruments and the pipe.
Praise Him with the loud-sounding cymbals; praise Him with the clanging cymbals.

To Have Strong Families
Father, I pray for (name one or more) and others in my circle of family and friends to have Christ-centered families...
Help them train their children in the way they should live, and give the children hearts to honor and obey their moms and dads. May the fathers not exasperate their children but bring them up to understand how You want them to live. (1 Corinthians 11:3; Proverbs 22:6; Ephesians 6:1,4)
May every husband love his wife as he loves himself, as Christ loved and was willing to give Himself up for the church. Help husbands not be harsh with their wives but be considerate, treating them with respect so their prayers won’t be hindered. (Ephesians 5:33a, 25; Colossians 3:19; 1 Peter 3:7)
May each wife respect her husband and submit to him as to the Lord, as the church submits to Christ. As all of us are to do, may they submit to one another out of reverence for Christ, each looking to the interests of the other. (Ephesians 5:33b, 22, 21; Philippians 2:4) Keep their families strong and together; help them to be givers and not takers.
